WE'RE MOVING HOUSE!!
Yes, we're moving house TODAY, 27 July, so please bear with us - hopefully we will be out of touch for a couple of days only - but I'm still in the hands of AOL, who will decide in their own sweet time when to activate my newly installed ADSL line! It's 'SERIOUS UPDATE' season!
CD1: (Imperf Plates 12-45) A HUGE update just completed, with over 550 new images added...and CD2: (Imperf Plates 46-90) is now complete - with over 350 new or replacement missing imprimatur position images added! There are now no gaps in this CD - and I am hugely indebted to the combined work of members of the 'Missing Imprimatur' group for this magnificent achievement...
CD5: (Perf C1/C2 Plates 155, 157, 162-R6) Nearly 200 new images added...
CD6 (Perf C3-C6 Plates 1-21) A serious update and revision...
Other recent updates:
CD3: (Imperf Plates 91-131) over 300 new images...and
CD4: (Imperf Plates 132-177) with over 400 new images of stamps from the Missing Imprimatur positions, most completely new, but some improved or replaced images. In a recent PC crash, I lost the 'AI' file from this group. Customers who have purchased this CD, please CHECK YOUR FILES... If you find your 'AI' file is missing, please let me know, as I have now rebuilt it, and I will email you a copy...
OTHER CDs: I'm currently working on a new CD7 entitled 'Plating the Penny Black and Twopenny Blue'... When complete, it will not only enable simple plating of all these issues, but also identify and illustrate the majority of later states....don't hold your breath though - it's taken me a year to get to 'DF'! • At last some more new covers - a veritable cornucopia of covers from 1802 to 1872! These include a wide selection of PRESTAMP COVERS, a couple of VERY SCARCE 1d RED 'BLACK' PLATES ON COVER from PLATES 1b and 2, and a few fine MALTESE CROSS COVERS including a PLATE 13 PAIR, a lovely PLATE 17, and a SCARCE PLATE 30 cancelled with NO.1 IN MALTESE CROSS. A good selection of LATER IMPERF COVERS includes a lovely PLATE 40, and other plates to PLATE 170.
