1841 1d Red-brown, a VFU+ single from this DIFFICULT EARLY plate, with four clear(centre S)-to-mostly VERY LARGE margins, on ENTIRE LETTER Basingstoke to London, dated 12 July 1841, cancelled and tied with a neat black Maltese Cross. A MISSING IMPRMATUR, showing tiny NE breaks, slight basal shift, 'S' tilted W, and 'C' misplaced low. Cat.200. New!

London to Nottingham, dated 28 September 1841, neatly cancelled and just tied with a black Maltese Cross. NE break, SE corner frame-line extending SE, and 'K' misplaced low right and tilted E. CONSTANT VARIETY: blur on top of 'L' (not mentioned Statham but clearly visible on the Imprimatur), and letters misplaced left and high left. Cat.1000+. New!
