1841 1d Red-brown, a VFU+ single from this DIFFICULT EARLY plate, with four clear(upper W)-to-mostly VERY LARGE margins, on tiny but tatty ENTIRE LETTER Barrow-upon-Humber to Brigg, dated 21 December 1841, VERY LIGHTLY cancelled with a black Maltese Cross, leaving COMPLETE CLEAR PROFILE. Fine SCARCE BARROW-UPON-HUMBER UDC. Major BASAL SHIFT, NE break, and a WORN state of the plate. Cat.200+. New!

London to Nottingham, dated 28 September 1841, neatly cancelled and just tied with a black Maltese Cross. NE break, SE corner frame-line extending SE, and 'K' misplaced low right and tilted E.
