CONSTANT VARIETIES: marks on and round 'G', and dot over NE; also blur W, and 'G' misplaced right. Current MIKE WILLIAMS CERTIFICATE, also out-of-date (and incorrect) 1984 RPS Certificate as 'Pale Red C10(3)', which was a pre-fire shade of April 1857 now listed as C9(3), before Plate 52 was put to press. 1858 2d Deep Blue A VFU RARE HORIZONTAL PAIR from the VERY SCARCE Perf.16 issue, centred somewhat low left, but with FULL PERFS, lightly cancelled with London Inland '34' numerals. 'TD': 'T' misplaced right; 'TE': NE corner frame-line extending E. Numerous corrosion blurs and scratches on both units. NOTE: It has been suggested that 'TE' has been re-entered, and completes the notable vertical 'E' Row 'KE-SE' series of re-entries on this plate. However, careful examination of this unit and comparison with the imprimatur shows that the various marks are not consistent with those of the re-entered units above, and most are not present on the imprimatur. 185.00
